The systems use a receiver collar that works with a radio signal from the wire. If your pet gets too close to the outside boundary that you set, he will receive a static correction to train him to stay within the designated area.
We have a variety of different systems with different levels of features. Some are designed specifically for cats, small dogs and stubborn dogs. The fences can cover up to 25 acres with the purchase of additional wire. If you have more than one pet, you can purchase additional collars.
