The fact is, dogs bark. They do it when they're excited or when they sense danger. Some do it when they're bored - or worse, for no reason at all. In these cases, you want to teach your friend that barking is only permitted under certain circumstances.
There are three different types of bark control products manufactured by PetSafe and Innotek. The Spray type control releases a Lemon Scented Spray when the dog barks. The Static Control Collar delivers a static charge when the dog barks and the Ultrasonic devices deliver a sound that is audible only to dogs when barking occurs.
The Stationary Ultrasonic Indoor Bark Control product does not require a collar and can be used indoors. All the other products can be used indoors and outdoors.
PetSafe also manufactures a unique Ultrasonic Outdoor Bark Control Birdhouse that can be used for your dog or even the neighbor's dog since it doesn't require a collar.
